The gas preset allows you to modulate the gas price you are willing to pay for your transaction. Aura offers this parameter so that each of your trades is as optimised as possible.
To modify your gas preset, click on the Set Gas Preset button . This parameter is a ratio, if you enter 50, the bot will increase the gas price by 50% over the base gas price for each of your coin manual trade. To reset the gas preset to default (i.e. use the base gas price) you can just leave the field empty or enter 0.
The gas preset is particularly useful when you're trading high-volume coin, or need to complete a transaction quickly. The gas price you associate with your transaction will in part define the transaction's place in the block, and therefore whether you will go before or after the other traders. By defining your gas preset correctly, you'll be able to find the balance between price paid and order in the block that best suits your strategy.
The trading setup gas preset only applies to transactions made through Aura in manual trading. Automatic tasks each have their own gas preset, which can be modified from their own dashboard.
