Approve Token

Learn how to approve a token easily.

Before selling a token, you must approve the router through which you will be trading. This feature allows you to easily approve a token on a router, and therefore sell it.

Set up the approval

To approve a token, simply click on the Approve Token button on the manager dashboard. The bot will ask you to enter several inputs: the contract address of the token to approve, and the router to approve. As a reminder, the router is the DEX through which you'll be selling (i.e. Uniswap, Pancakeswap, Sushiswap).

To simplify the process and avoid you having to approve the token several times, the bot doesn't ask you how many tokens should be approved, and directly approves the maximum possible amount.

Approval simulation & execution

Once you've confirmed the inputs, the bot will simulate the transaction and send you back the various information. You can check the sending address, the spender address (router) and the estimated gas fees you'll pay. This gives you a complete visibility over the execution of the approval and the price you will pay.

If you're satisfied with the simulation, click on the Confirm button . Once confirmed, the bot will return the executed approval information and transaction hash.
