Learn how to bridge fund to base with the bridge.

Whether you want to start trading on Friend.tech or inject fresh funds, you'll need to use a bridge to move your ether from the Mainnet to Base. To facilitate this process, we have built a bridge directly into the module. Thanks to its speed and security, it's never been easier to bridge your ether.

Set up the bridge

To begin, use the /friendtech bridge command, and enter the required inputs. These inputs are composed of the direction of the bridge, i.e. whether you want to bridge from Mainnet to Base or vice versa, and the quantity to bridge in ether. You're not asked for the wallet, as it's the same as the one registered in your setup, accessible from /friendtech wallet. On base, Aura only supports wallet-to-wallet bridging.

Transfer simulation & execution

Once you've confirmed the inputs, the bot will simulate the transaction and send you back the various information about the bridge. You can check the sending address, the bridge direction, as well as the ether value your are bridging. This gives you a complete visibility over the execution of the transaction and the transfer of your funds.

If you're satisfied with the simulation, click on the Confirm button . Once confirmed, the bot will return the executed bridge information and transaction hash. Your fund will take around 2 minutes to arrive on Base.
