Max Gwei

Learn how to modify your max gwei.

When you carry out a transaction, the gas price can significantly change the swap price, and must be taken into account. Aura lets you set a maximum gas price in gwei. The bot will check that the total gas price (gas price + gas preset) does not exceed your max gwei limit right before triggering the transaction.

Modify your max gwei

To modify your max gwei, click on the Set Max Gwei button . This parameter is simply a number that represents the max price (in gwei) that the bot is allowed to use, it's a limit. If you would like to reset the limit to 0, just leave the field empty or enter 0.

How to use the gas preset ?

The max gwei limit is essential because it protects you from a swap that would be much more expensive than expected. Sometimes, the gas price can spike very high for a limited period of time, and the bot will block the transaction if it exceeds your acceptable level. To sum up, you are protected.
